Finding the Right Wetsuit

The right wetsuit comes down to who's wearing it and the time of year. Winter styles use thicker neoprene, from 5/4mm up to 6/5mm, often with a hooded option for the coldest sessions. Summer styles run thinner, from 2mm to 4/3mm, for warmer water and longer, more flexible sessions. Shorty wetsuits and spring suits offer the most freedom of movement once the water really warms up.
