Bought in store, where Andy took time to show me reviews of the board to best get an idea of set up and what conditions it will likely go best in. Opting the 5 fin options with endorfins, the quad appeared the optimum set up for most users feedback. Had a good crack at solid ground swell over a couple days. The extra volume under chest and through nose means tonnes of float on a shorter board, that still feels refined through the rails. Catches anything and on the quad drivey and fast. Feels the wave differently and nice flow compared to standard thrusters. Loose in pocket right off the bottom, felt great and plenty waves to get a feel for a unique and great feeling board. The epoxy hard wearing and no signs of my usual first few surfs pressure marks on the deck. Great stick that will sit well in workable waves great down the line and fast, nice rail to rail and holds in powerful surf off the bottom.
